• 12–15 minutes (about 0.6 miles)
• Leave through the same main entrance where you entered the gardens.
• When you exit onto Via Melzi d’Eril, turn right and follow the road back toward the center of Bellagio. This is the same scenic lakeside promenade you walked in on.
• Keep the lake on your left. Walk about 8–10 minutes.
• You’ll arrive at the busy ferry area and Piazza Mazzini, the main waterfront square.
• Standing in Piazza Mazzini with the lake behind you, look for the famous steep stone pedestrian street climbing uphill. This is Salita Serbelloni.
• Walk up Salita Serbelloni. Climb about 2–3 minutes.
• Bilacus is not all the way at the top. Watch on your left for the entrance.
• The restaurant is tucked behind an ivy-covered courtyard and isn’t immediately obvious from the street, so keep an eye out for its sign.
